Figs with yellow skin and red pulp seem to be more common in hotter regions, such as the southern US, and where climates are warm enough for fig wasps to exist and pollinate figs, such as in southern California and the Mediterranean region. Brooklyn White is an exceptional fig variety in ripening with yellow skin and red pulp in cooler more northern climes with short seasons. Brooklyn White skin can tend to the greenish or sometimes have golden or translucent pulp, but Brooklyn White figs often have yellow skin with red pulp. Strawberry-honey flavor.
