Punch berry figs, also known simply as berry figs or dark berry figs, include some of the most premier or prized flavors of figs, such as Black Madeira (aka Figo Preto), Bordissot Noire, and Col de Dame Noire. Even Mt Etna, by many names, probably the most reliable and most common fig in the northeast US, is a great tasting strawberry-grape punch berry fig and one of many people’s favorite figs.
