Citric Berry Figs, also known as “Adriatic” figs, have green skin and red pulp. These are intense strawberry flavored figs with an acidic or citric tang. Nordland from Switzerland – known as Longue d’Aout in France and Cucumber in the US – is early ripening and especially good for short season growers. Ischia Green, also known as Paradiso and Battaglia Green, is later ripening and especially dark red.
