Canadice grapes, ripe for a couple weeks now, zone 6b northern West Virginia. A few seeds, tart skin, very sweet thick pulp. This vine grows on a bush, gets direct sun until about 3:30 p.m. These grapes are untreated. Black rot took a percentage. Some of the casualties can be seen as black, shriveled, raisin-like mummies. Other infected grapes dropped or were plucked off in the preceding weeks.
